Since 1981, Lamco Design has been at the forefront of bespoke design and furniture manufacture. We use the latest machinery to produce the majority of the product components, these are then assembled by hand by a skilled team of experienced craftsmen. Over the years we have worked with numerous clients; from the countries leading interior design experts to private individuals. In-house creations
We keep all aspects of our bespoke furniture design and manufacture in-house to ensure we continue to meet the highest standards of innovation and quality.Our designers and development team spend time sourcing the best materials from around the world and our skilled craftsmen manufacture the furniture with care and precision.
For a top-quality finish we believe that some traditional methods are timeless. This has lead us to adapt and develop the techniques of traditional wood working craftsmanship in conjunction with the use of modern machinery.
The materials used to make up our bespoke range of furniture are always changing. Year on year materials improve and the range of options available increases. We are at the forefront of the latest trends, with an unrivalled choice of materials from fabrics to precious stones and from veneers to melamines. Our vinyl wraps include a massive collection of colours from hi gloss, to matt finishes. We now even offer heavily textured laminates for a more realistic woodgrain finish. A new product taking the industry by storm is Acrylic. Acrylic is all about hi-gloss which is available in all of the standard colours through to some really funky contemporary finishes. These are very commonly used for hinged doors as well as the popular sliding door system. At Lamco Design we can pin-point the perfect material to suit your needs, taste and budget.
All of our sliding doors are manufactured in-house by our skilled team. We only use the highest quality aluminium and running gear for all of our sliding doors. We never use steel frames. Frames come in a variety finishes, sprayed in hi-gloss, or matt lacquers. Most common are the brushed anodised colours – Silver and Bronze. The internal panels to the doors can be divided up with near limitless possibilities and are most commonly manufactured using coloured glass and coloured mirrors.
We can even integrate wooden panels into the doors. High-end real wood veneers can be stained to any colour of your choice and can then be finished in a hi-gloss lacquer or Matt scratch resistant lacquer. Wood veneers are available in various thickness and are used to manufacture luxurious walk-in-wardorbes and lounge furniture. With budgets in mind, we offer the largest selection of melamine boards from across the world with the highest grade cores and laminates as standard.
LG-Hi-macs is a product we use for applications such as bespoke shaped table tops, cladding of contemporary fireplaces, wall panelling, specialised worktops in kitchens or bathrooms. LG Hi-macs is a product of the future and is taking the commercial world by storm with airports and bars being refurbished completely in the product.

The utmost precision
Our extensive workshop is home to the latest state-of-the-art machinery. This includes brand saws that cut to the precision of 0.1 millimetre. On all of our cut board we use a 2mm PVC edging that is extremely robust and strong and has superseded the old fashioned iron-on edging that is still widely used by other manufacturers to this date.
Combining traditional craftsmanship with investment in the latest machinery allows us to speed up production and save you money, without sacrificing the personal touch.
